Miquon Exchange

Miquon Exchange Bio

True archetypes of the late 00's Philly indie garage-band scene, hailing from the heart of the riverbanks of Miquon and named appropriately so, Miquon Exchange is a band born to rock, first as a solipsistic music project and now as a general entertainer of the public at large. The band's music is in-keeping with its character: garage minimalism, with 9 or 10 self-written albums, and a few bread-and-circus covers of popular tunes to keep the seething crowds pacified and happy. ("Are you not amused?!" the band regularly asks after shows). Kathie is a karaoke-ing Chinese tracker who wishes she was a lounge singer; Ken is a businessman with a piano problem; Ankur was a rock band legend (in college) and now is a Rock Band (the game) legend; Shonnel is a visionary private equitist turned strummer (the credit crunch hit him hard), Mike is an ethereal synthesis of a thousand aesthetic identities which, in unity, leave only pure musical spirit in human form, because he's in too many bands, and Judah is, in fact, a true musician (seriously! check his band Stonethrown Out at www.myspace.com/stonethrown, iTunes, and www.cdbaby.com).
