Stimulus Package

Stimulus Package Bio

The members of Stimulus Package joined together as a band on a rainy evening in November. Prior to that fateful night, each member of the band pocketed extra money by playing/singing solo in Philadelphia's own Suburban underground station. On the 12th of November 2009, each member of Stimulus Package were performing for change in the station when the band leader suggested that if the performers joined together as a band, the result would be resounding, soulful, melodious harmony. The government heard and lent some hand by sending some stimulus from the bailout. After joining together, the band's profitability in Suburban station increased 10-fold. One night, the group pocketed a whopping $215.50...all in change, but US tender nonetheless. Since then, the band has played in numerous local Philly jazz restaurants and most recently appeared as guests on the Wendy Williams Show and Craig Ferguson’s Late Show. Despite Stimulus Package’s newfound C-list Rocker status, the group will never forget its humble beginnings and continues to perform every 3rd Tuesday around lunchtime in Suburban Station on 16th and JFK. Battle of the Bands is a dream come true for us.
