Douglas is a 2003 MBA graduate of Wharton. Currently he is Senior Brand Manager for Lipton Tea USA. In this role he is leading the brand revitalization and repositioning of Lipton through strategic new product launches, PR communication, and targeted Media and Brand Activation initiatives. In his first year with Unilever, Lipton increased its #1 share position by 2.3 share points. Prior to joining Unilever, Douglas worked at Colgate-Palmolive in China where he was responsible for successfully stabilizing the market share of Colgate’s Equity Toothpaste and launching Colgate Propolis Toothpaste, a China market innovation which was the most successful new product launch for Colgate China in a decade. Previous to Wharton, Douglas led China and Asia Pacific marketing for Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins, where he increased revenue and share across 13 countries including China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and New Zealand. Douglas is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversant in Japanese. He has lived and worked in China for 7 years and Japan for 1 year.
