In 1904, the Wharton School became the first business school to offer a marketing curriculum, and the school has vigorously maintained its position at the forefront of marketing studies during the past century. The Wharton School now has the largest, most cited and most published marketing department in the world.
The Seventh Annual Marketing Conference will bring approximately 300 faculty, students and leading experts from the marketing field together under the theme “Captivating the Consumer in Times of Change.” This year’s conference will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions focusing on how marketers are breaking the mold to reach consumers and capture share of mind, whether it’s online, in the stores, or on the streets.
The Wharton Marketing Conference is intended to serve as an integral forum for the marketing community within and beyond Wharton, providing access to the latest trends and research in the field, as well as an opportunity to build personal and professional networks.
This year’s conference will take place on Friday, November 12th at the Hyatt at the Bellevue, Philadelphia. The Wharton Marketing Conference will again provide Wharton faculty, students, alumni and marketing industry leaders a venue for continued learning, knowledge sharing, and networking.
