Career Management

Wharton enjoys a wide variety of industries and companies that recruit for marketing functions. From consumer packaged goods to technology, healthcare to fashion, each student finds the best fit for the next step. The club is proud to offer several unique programs that prepare you to stand out during interviewing.

Buddy Programs

We pair interested first years with their more seasoned counterparts in the second year over an informal lunch. Utilize your buddy during on-campus recruiting as an advisor and mentor. Buddies in the past have provided advice, resume review, mock interviewing, and stress relief to interviewing first years.

Internship Panels

Each fall, returning second years make themselves available to discuss their recently-completed summer internships. Grouped around industry and function, these students are a great source of knowledge and candid feedback, both on marketing projects in general and on companies in particular.

Mock Interviews & Resume Reviews

Outside of the buddy program, groups of second years volunteer to review first years resumes and provide feedback. In general, one can get several second years to review a resume, providing a diversity of comments that strengthen the universal appeal of a resume. In addition, mock interviews by second years provide the opportunity to see what it will really feel like to be sitting in that interview room during the first years' interview period.
